Hi, I’m Bridget. Nice to meet you!

Originally from St. Louis, I moved to Chicago in Fall 2018 to start my college journey at Loyola University Chicago to study Advertising and Public Relations. Growing up, I had always been interested in public relations. I remember looking up what PR was and researching it, keeping it in the back of my mind. When it came time to choose my major, I chose Ad/PR as a way to combine my creative side with my communicative side and love of sharing things I’m excited about. I actually started college thinking I would like advertising more, but throughout my time at Loyola, I slowly fell in love with public relations. With public relations, I can get other people excited about things that I am excited about and build relationships with so many different people.

I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Loyola on May 12, 2022, and during my time at Loyola, I got to learn from so many amazing professionals and had a ton of opportunities to hone my skills and further my professional career. In classes, I worked with real brands on campaigns, one of which was Simple Mills. After my group had presented our final PR plan to the brand representatives, we received feedback that they loved our ideas and were going to implement them with their teams. That feedback enforced my passion for PR and got me excited to see where the future would take me.

The further I advanced in school, the more I started thinking about what industry I wanted to be in. Looking back, this wasn’t a hard decision in the slightest. I knew I wanted to be in the entertainment industry in some way, shape or form. I am a dancer, I was in musicals, I love seeing live entertainment and I love movies. It was a no-brainer. The entertainment industry is where I wanted to be. With my internship experience, I’ve gotten to work with Immersive Van Gogh and Immersive Frida Kahlo. I also got to work with the Winnie the Pooh Musical, which was so much fun as a huge Disney and musical fan. I loved being able to work in the entertainment space while sharpening my publicity skills.

Toward the end of my senior year, I received the call that I had been dreaming about since I was a little girl. I received an offer to intern at Walt Disney World on their public relations team. I had always wanted to work for Disney, and this internship has been a dream come true. During my internship, I’ve gotten to lead projects, work on grand openings and learn so much about myself as a professional. I was able to lead the reopening of Fantasmic!, from writing the press release to organizing the photo and b-roll shoot to working on the media event, it was such an amazing experience – not to mention being one of my favorite shows.

Each experience that I’ve had continues to top the one before, and I’ve learned so much from so many incredible leaders, mentors and professionals. Now currently based in Orlando, FL, I am eager to keep learning and can’t wait to see where my career takes me.
